Average gross salary in Romania has been increased based on the following the entry into force of Law nr.3/2018 on state social insurance budget in 2018, as starting from 01 January 2018, the average gross salary per month for a foreign employee has been increased from 3.131 RON to 4.162 RON. The minimum gross salary by the Governmental decision nr.846/2017 is 1.900 RON starting from 01 January 2018.
